Art feeds the soul at stunning Currumbin Beach’s very popular Swell Sculpture Festival this week. The annual Festival is back with a vengeance and without mincing words; you have to go.
Every year, the lineup of sculptures from sculptors within Australia and indeed the world never disappoints. Stretching all the way along Currumbin Beach, visitors are showered with 65 pieces of talent, creativity and daring.

Nearby Dust Temple on Currumbin Creek Rd is playing host to mini Swell sculptures. Make sure you visit this gallery/cafe housed in what was once an industrial warehouse to soak up its remarkable transformation.https://www.dusttemple.com.au/
Next door is Gather with its beautiful dried flowers and homewares. Well worth a wander.
This really nice part of the world is made doubly nicer with Swell. A couple of Currumbin cafes which may seal the deal for lunch are the newly opened Tommy’s (Italian) as well as the iconic Vikings Currumbin Surf Club.
Swell is here for the viewing until September 19.
